Job Details:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the overall operation of the department, ensuring high-quality food service while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure superior quality food is provided to patients, employees, and staff.
- Implement safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, clients, and other hospital departments.
- Promote the professional growth of team members.
- Foster inter-departmental collaboration and align department goals with facility operations.
Requirements:
- A.A. Degree or relevant experience preferred.
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitian preferred.
- Knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and cost controls.
- Previous experience in P&L accountability or contract-managed services desired.
- Strong leadership, communication, and financial skills.
