The Director of Dining Services role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, innovative leader dedicated to enhancing business practices. This pivotal position ensures optimal Dining Services operations, prioritizing client and customer satisfaction through cost-effective management.

Job Details:

The Director oversees all foodservice activities, including retail, cafeteria, and catering, focusing on quality improvement, sanitation, and client relations while exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department
  • Oversee overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account
  • Interview, hire, train associates; plan, assign work; appraise performance, reward, and address complaints
  • Prepare and manage annual budget
  • Utilize company systems for required reports and oversee food and beverage preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of foodservice operational management experience
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality control, and cost management
  • P&L accountability experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and computer skills
  • ServSafe? Certified
