As a Catering Sales Manager, you will engage with clients, understand their catering needs, make suggestions, and coordinate catering activities. Communication and teamwork are essential in this role to ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide catering sales support to client inquiries.
- Determine client catering needs by offering exceptional customer service.
- Provide expert suggestions on menu selections and event locations.
- Collaborate with internal teams on menu planning and catering events.
- Maintain detailed records of catering activities in CaterTrax.
- Perform special projects and assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record in catering.
- Strong knowledge of current food and industry trends.
- Experience in hospitality industry, including catering sales.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt to changes and maintain a proactive mindset.
