Job Details:

As the Environmental Services Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department, acting as a liaison between administration and various hospital departments to maintain service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and review standards and work procedures for Housekeeping staff
• Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure optimal service levels
• Assist in the hiring and training of new associates
• Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff
• Conduct regular inspections and provide recommendations
• Report goals, accomplishments, and future plans monthly
• Coordinate outside services such as Pest Control and Window Cleaning

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience
• At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work in changing environments
• Demonstrated leadership, flexibility, and thorough knowledge of contract administration
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
