Job Details:
As the Environmental Services Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department, acting as a liaison between administration and various hospital departments to maintain service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and review standards and work procedures for Housekeeping staff
- Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure optimal service levels
- Assist in the hiring and training of new associates
- Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff
- Conduct regular inspections and provide recommendations
- Report goals, accomplishments, and future plans monthly
- Coordinate outside services such as Pest Control and Window Cleaning
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience
- At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work in changing environments
- Demonstrated leadership, flexibility, and thorough knowledge of contract administration
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
