Job Overview:

The HVAC Mechanic role involves skilled maintenance duties within the facilities engineering and maintenance departments. This 1st Shift position offers a $500 Sign On Bonus and another $500 Bonus After 6 Months.

Job Details:

The HVAC Mechanic operates, maintains, and repairs various systems and devices in accordance with manufacturer specifications, regulatory requirements, and facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Update work statuses and document tasks using a mobile device
• Operate, maintain, and repair various systems and devices
• Assist in decision-making on repairs and report major problems
• Support project management activities
• Respond to emergency problems and make repairs as needed

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician / HVAC Mechanic
• HVAC certification or license highly preferred
• Experience with blueprints and schematics
• Understanding of electro-mechanical equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, perform strenuous labor, and operate hand-operated equipment
