Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team in **Lompoc, California**. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Job Details:

This position involves working on a first shift schedule from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with additional on-call hours as needed. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $35.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and system components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions and develop solutions.
• Conduct daily rounds to inspect system conditions and perform maintenance tasks.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and recommend improvements.
• Develop estimates for repair projects and secure necessary resources.

Requirements:

• High School or trade/vocational school graduate with relevant coursework.
• Two years of experience as a Junior Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computer operations and HVAC systems maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints.
