Job Overview:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 2nd Shift position in Brockton, Massachusetts. The role involves performing basic maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.

Job Details:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing minor repairs, maintaining equipment, and performing various unskilled or semi-skilled tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Assist in decision-making for minor and routine repairs.
• Maintain equipment and conduct minor equipment repairs using tools.
• Execute tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and drywall maintenance.
• Maintain logs, perform rounds, complete work orders, tests, and inspections.
• Read, comprehend, and communicate detailed instructions verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks using a work order system.
• Experience with minor drywall and flooring.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and generator monitoring.
• Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record.

Other Details:

This position requires availability for on-call duties every 6th weekend. The ideal candidate should have a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and be a team player.
