Job Overview:

This position involves installing and repairing medical gas piping systems for healthcare facilities. The role requires knowledge of NFPA 99 codes and regulations, with travel within and outside the Somerset Metro area.

Job Details:

The Medical Gas Technician/Installer performs installation and repairs on medical gas piping distribution systems for hospitals, guided by NFPA 99 codes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repair and installation tasks on medical gas systems.
• Maintain vacuum pumps, compressors, and gas manifolds.
• Utilize tools for equipment repairs and installations.
• Install medical gas piping and system components.
• Assess repairs and prepare customer proposals.
• Respond to facility emergency calls for repairs.

Requirements:

• ASSE 6010 certification for medical gas system installations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASSE Section IX certification for brazing medical gas piping.
• Ability to travel as required.
