Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Biomedical Equipment Technician III. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, calibrations, and inspections on imaging equipment while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Details:

The primary focus of this role is to conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and quality assurance checks on imaging equipment. Additionally, you will provide technical support to equipment operators and manage repair parts inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance and calibrations on imaging equipment
  • Assist in training BMET Technicians in diagnostic imaging
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and operators to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Handle emergency on-call responsibilities as needed
  • Order repair parts within budget limits

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in repairing radiology equipment
  • Specialized knowledge in modalities such as radiology, MRI, ultrasound, etc.
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to serve on-call duty and provide technical guidance to others
