We are looking for a skilled Piping Designer to join our engineering team in Long Beach, California. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical design background and proficiency in various design software to create detailed piping designs that meet project specifications.

Job Details:

The Piping Designer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and revising product or pipe support plans and specifications, as well as designing components for new or existing products and applications. Collaboration with engineers and team members is essential for successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Create, review, or revise product or pipe support plans & specifications.
• Design components for new or existing products or applications.
• Ensure accuracy of drawings & bills of materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality work.
• Participate in meetings and work closely with various departments.

Requirements:

• Certification / Diploma in AutoCAD.
• 5+ years of experience in 3-D modeling environment, focusing on pipe supports.
• Associates Degree in Industrial Design or Engineering (preferred).
• Knowledge of Industry Safety & Procedural requirements.
• Working knowledge/experience with ASME 31.1 & Section 8 Nuclear requirements (desired).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
