Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled individual to oversee plumbing and utility maintenance operations at our medical center in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role involves planning, executing, and inspecting plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Details:

The position entails coordinating and scheduling skilled trades' staff activities, monitoring work orders, providing safety directives, conducting inspections, estimating materials, and maintaining communication with relevant parties.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities
• Monitor work orders and project completion
• Provide safety directives to staff
• Conduct inspections and ensure job specifications
• Recommend and implement policies
• Estimate materials needed for assigned work
• Maintain communication with vendors and contractors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, College Preferred
• 3-5 years of plumbing experience
• Hospital plumbing experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and maneuver trucks
• Ability to bend and withstand changing temperature conditions

Other Details:

This is a first shift position from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties every 6th weekend. All work must comply with Joint Commission, NFPA, and other regulatory agencies.
