Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Product Owner to be a part of our team and lead the development of our Vertex platform. As the Product Owner for Vertex, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the product strategy for our Vertex integrations. Collaborating with various stakeholders, technical teams, and business owners, you will ensure the alignment of the product portfolio with the enterprise strategy.

Job Details:

This hybrid role, based in Irvine, California, requires a versatile individual with both technical and process-oriented skills. You will be responsible for creating and managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders, customers, and subject matter experts to gather and understand requirements.
• Create, manage, and validate user stories to ensure quality, performance, usability, and security standards are met.
• Ensure comprehensive testing of solutions, including regression testing before release.
• Manage and deliver assigned deliverables on time according to project plans.
• Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends for continuous product improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Tax Leadership to prioritize the product backlog based on business objectives and customer needs.
• Develop strong business relationships, influence stakeholders, and work with others to deliver exceptional solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor?s degree in information technology or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Vertex indirect tax solutions in SAP EEC and S/4 Hana for US and Canada.
• Experience with SAP modules and S/4 HANA.
• Basic understanding of sale and use tax principles.
• Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience with AzureDevOps or similar tool.
