Job Overview:

Join our team as an Assistant Regional Controller and play a vital role in the financial operations of our organization. You will assist in the monthly, quarterly, and fiscal close processes, ensuring accurate financial statements are prepared for our Divisions or Subsidiaries.

Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated professional who can build strong relationships with team members and management. Your responsibilities will include billing, general ledger review, balance sheet reconciliation, P/L and balance sheet activity tracking, credit card, and cash transaction reconciliation, as well as California and Local sales tax return preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute billings to clients
  • Review general ledger and balance sheet for reconciliation
  • Maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity
  • Assist in credit card and cash transaction reconciliation
  • Prepare California and Local sales tax returns
  • Handle special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of two years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a retail industry
  • Experience in POS, cash, and credit card environments
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP software is a plus
