Join our team in Germantown, Maryland as a reprocessing technician responsible for decontaminating, sterilizing, and assembling medical supplies and equipment used in patient care.

Job Details:

You will be tasked with cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, sterilizing, and transporting a variety of medical supplies and instruments. Additionally, you will maintain equipment and ensure proper storage and distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and transport equipment and supplies.
• Decontaminate a range of reusable patient care equipment using detergents and disinfecting solutions.
• Handle flexible fiberscopes, TEE Probes, Manometer Probes, and Bougies.
• Sterilize instruments, equipment, surgical linens, and supplies.
• Maintain equipment, operate sterilizing equipment, and prepare packages of supplies.

Requirements:

• Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification.
• Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) Certification.
• Associates Degree in a related Healthcare field preferred.
• Ability to lift greater than 50 pounds and strong communication skills.
